Awards - ESFA California Raisin Awards Scheme
Supporting Health and Fitness in Children

Together with California Raisins, the ESFA has created a NEW award scheme to give you a bigger opportunity to get your pupils involved in football at your school.
There are 9 awards and certificates ranging from 1 Star to 5 Star for Primary Schools and Bronze, Silver and Gold for Secondary Schools. The first Star is just for involvement – no need to be in the school team or even the reserves – and no one is tested. It really is available to anyone who gets involved in football. Anyone can achieve the first 3 levels. The awards then progress through to improvement and excellence into team and district awards. There’s also a special Merit award, open to all school ages, which rewards spirit, conduct, effort and attitude.
There’s also a poster supplied with this pack which is for you to place in your school, for all the children to see how they can get involved.

California Raisins are committed to supporting health and fitness in schools, and eating the right food is just as important as exercising and keeping fit. California Raisins are a great source of fibre, protein, calcium, iron, vitamin C, niacin PP, riboflavin B2, thiamine and vitamin A.
