POLICY - ORDER OF PRECEDENCE RELATING SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL FIXTURES

Proposed order of precedence is as follows:

1. ESFA international matches and international selection weekends
2. ESFA Inter-County matches
3. ESFA Inter-District matches
4. ESFA Inter-School matches
5. Non-ESFA Inter-County competition matches
6. Non-ESFA Inter-District competition matches
7. Non-ESFA Inter-School competition matches
8. Inter-County non-competition matches
9. Inter-District non-competition matches
10. Inter-School non-competition matches

The most likely clashes are between counties and districts, particularly when a district has a game in the ESFA Inter-District Trophy, and a county has a non-ESFA competition match. In such an instance, the ESFA Inter-District game would take precedence.
