The ‘SCOTY’ Awards 2010

Is your school’s football coach the best in the country? If so, read on. ‘SCOTY’ stands for Schools Coach of the Year and was introduced by Coca-Cola Enterprises when they sponsored the ESFA U13 Schools Cups for boys and girls.
The English Schools’ FA has recently reached an agreement with the Professional Footballers’ Association to take this on for 2010. We therefore invite nominations for the award (one male teacher and one female teacher) from players in school teams.
These nominations should state the name of the teacher coach, his or her school, and the name of the player making the nomination. Then in less than 100 words the player needs to say why their particular teacher is worthy of being the PFA Schools Coach of the Year for 2010.
All entries should be headlined SCOTY and are to be emailed to competitions@esfa.co.uk to arrive by Saturday 1 May 2010
