Reading Schools lifted the ESFA N.U.T. U15 Inter Association Trophy for only the second time in their history last night after beating Sefton Schools 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium, Reading Football Club.  The scoreline, a repeat of the first leg at Marine FC, completed a 4-0 aggregate score for Reading.

A crowd of 1711 turned out to see Reading Captain, Nobby Theo, lift the Trophy after a goal in each half from the Berkshire outfit and also witness the last game as Reading Team Manager for Peter Chartes.

Unfortunately for Sefton, this is the third time they have finished runners-up in the Trophy since their formation in 1983.
