Darlington PSFA - ESFA Premier League Champions 2016

The Premier League Charitable Fund (PLCF) and the English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) are pleased to announce a funding opportunity for affiliated Districts running U11 Representative teams.

This funding will follow the previous round of grants provided by the PLCF to support Districts in the seasons 2014-15 and 2015-16. There are a limited number of grants that can be awarded this season, so please be aware that this will be a competitive application with grants only awarded to those who complete the application correctly and are considered to have the most need of support.

Affiliated District Associations are eligible for two separate tranches of funding to support current activity – one for a U11 Girls District team and one for a U11 Boys District team. If a District is running teams in both categories, they will be eligible to submit two separate applications.

The purposes of this funding is to:

  • Support Districts who have previously received PLCF district grants to continue the development of the U11 programme
  • Enhance activity for other Districts already running U11 Representative activity
  • Develop best practice and collaboration where Districts have a good relationship with their local professional club (both the football club and it’s respective Club Community Organisation (CCO))

This funding will be available for Season 2016-2017 only and can be used to support District Representative team activity; some examples of where it can be used are:

  • Facility hire
  • CPD / Staff Development
  • Transport (no international travel applicable)
  • Referee hire
  • Training venues
  • The aspects below are not applicable for funding:
  • Training kit (Good quality team kits can be obtained via the Premier Leagues Kit Scheme incentive if required)
  • International Travel

The deadline for submitting applications is Wednesday 19th October 2016.

To apply, please complete the online application form
