Lilleshall National Sports Centre hosts the SAFIB U14 Girls’ Rod Houston Cup from 20th – 22nd October
The Schools Association Football International Board (SAFIB) U14 Girls’ Rod Houston British Isles Cup, back for a second season, brings together the winners of last season’s Under 13 National Cup competitions to give them the opportunity to play against other teams throughout the British Isles in order to win the prestigious trophy!
The competition, organised this season by the ESFA, takes place at Lilleshall NSC from Thursday 20th until Saturday 22nd October and gives the girls a chance to stay over and enjoy the Lilleshall facilities and spend time with the various different teams.
England: U13 PlayStation Schools’ Cup for Girls’ National Champions: St Ivo School, Huntingdon
Wales: U13 Champions: Ysgol Dyffryn Aman, Ammanford
Republic of Ireland: U13 Champions Ursuline College, Sligo
England: U13 PlayStation Schools’ Cup for Girls’ National Cup Runners Up: Thomas Telford School, Telford
NB. Scotland have elected not to enter a team into the competition this year

Thursday 20 October (under floodlights)
Dyffryn Aman v St Ivo – 4:30pm KO
Ursuline College v Thomas Telford – 5:30pm KO
Friday 21 October
Dyffryn Aman v Thomas Telford – 10:30am KO
Ursuline College v St Ivo – 11:30am KO
Saturday 22 October
Dyffryn Aman v Ursuline College – 10:30am KO
Thomas Telford v St Ivo – 10:30am KO
Saturdays matches will be followed by the presentation of the Rod Houston Cup to the winning team and commemorative medals to all players and Match Officials.
