National Family Week

National Family Week 2010 is to run between the 31st May and 6th June and aims to encourage people across the country to celebrate being part of a family.

The week is backed by all major political parties and a huge range of national charities, local authorities, community groups and sporting associations including The FA, the Premier League, England Athletics, RFU, ECB and the LTA, plus a whole host of celebrities.

Saturday 5th June is the Family Week Sports Day, during which hundreds of clubs, associations, local authorities and community groups will be running their own sports days. Sports days can be anything from single sport activities to multi-sport taster sessions.

National Family Week can provide support in a number of ways including PR, promotional materials for marketing and encouraging our celebrity supporters to attend. Alternatively, people may be interested in carrying out activities at one or more of our existing flagship Family Week Sports Days – for example specifically targeting mums and providing them with information on how they can get involved in playing, officiating, volunteering or coaching in football long-term.
