Munich Trophies U12 Football Fives Finals

Monday 2nd March saw 16 teams from across England descend on the Derby Soccerdome for this season’s ESFA Under 12 Indoor 5 a side Festival sponsored by Munich Trophies. The event saw all 16 teams receive a shield as a memento for winning their regional competition to qualify the National Finals.

Boys Action

Teams were split into two groups with the teams finishing first and second progressing through into the Semi Finals for the chance to win the trophy.

Girls Action

The games kicked off and saw plenty of goals in all games across the 4 pitches with spectators seeing the best 5 a side teams in England.

Oxford Academy - Boys Winners

The Boys final saw Oxford Academy and St Ignatius College level at full time. Oxford Academy went on to win on penalties after finishing 1-1 after extra time and lifting the National Trophy to be crowned National Champions.

Queen Elizabeth's High School - Girls Winners

The Girls final saw Queen Elizabeth’s beat Christleton High School 3-1 in a well contested final. The captain of Queen Elizabeth’s was presented with the National Trophy by Mike Spinks, ESFA Chairman, and Marc Cowcher, Munich Trophies.
