Hat-tricks from Callum Blanchard and Danny Freeman shot Healing School (Grimsby) to and emphatic victory against Tupton Hall School (Chesterfield) on Friday (11 Feb), to gain them a place in the last 16 of the ESFA 4 Aces U14 Schools’ Cup.

Healing made a whirlwind start as Blanchard and Freeman fired them into a two goal lead after just three minutes.  Peter Fearn reduced the deficit for Tupton on nine minutes.  Tupton managed to hold out until the break and the score remained 2-1 to Healing.

Healing dominated in the second half with Blanchard adding to the score on 46 minutes and Freeman netted a fourth on 50 minutes.

Healing completed the rout with hat-trick goals from both Blanchard on 61 minutes and Freeman in the final minute to make it 6-1.

Healing now face an away trip to William Beamont Sports College (Warrington) in the next round, who overcame Sacred Heart High School from Liverpool, 3-1, in the last round.
